My Story
I was so excited to find a wickless candle that I could use to make my house smell good. My husband and daughter have asthma so I couldn’t burn candles because the soot and smoke irritated their asthma. I tried Scentsy products and loved what a great scent throw Scentsy had, and how beautiful they are.
I had just quit my full time job because, my second child had some health problems and I couldn’t put her in day care, and I wanted to stay home with my kids, but still wanted to make a little extra money. So I joined Scentsy to earn a little extra money. My idea of making a little extra money has now turned into a lifetime blessing for my family. I know make so much more working part time with my Scentsy business then I ever would have working full time at my other job.
I was surprised how easy Scentsy was to sell. People love scentsy and are always coming back for more. So it became a great business. I even had people ask to sign up under me because they saw how fun, flexible, and easy Scentsy was to sell. Now I love to help others become successful with their own scentsy business.
I have had some tough times along the way with my health. First I went on bed rest for six months. I couldn’t do any parties or fairs, and that was one of my best business building tools. So I was frustrated and didn’t know how I was going to continue to work my business. But I didn’t give up I just found a new way to work my business. That is when I decided to do more online networking and did basket/catalog parties. That is the great thing about Scentsy business, is you make it to fit into your life. I was still able to grow my business and my team while I was flat on my back on bed rest.
I was so glad to get off bed rest and start working doing more parties and fairs again, but a year after that I got several autoimmune diseases, where I have a hard time walking or standing, and have to be in a wheel chair to go long distances, and causes lots of pain. Again I have had to re-adjust my business. But even with my trials My business continued to grow and has been a blessing, not only financially, but it has given me purpose, a part of something special, family/friends, and a way I can help others to be successful.
